When you may need a fit-to-fly certificate
After an illness during your trip, after an injury such as a fracture, after a medical or aesthetic procedure in Istanbul, with certain heart or lung conditions, and in later pregnancy. Check your airline's rules, as requirements differ.
What the doctor checks
The doctor takes your history, examines you and checks the things that matter for flying, such as breathing, oxygen level, blood pressure and wounds. If you are fit to travel, you receive a signed certificate in English. If not, the doctor explains why and what to do next.
Reports for your insurer
If your trip was disrupted by illness, we also provide a medical report and receipt you can submit to your travel insurance.

Often yes, but contact us as early as possible so we can plan the visit.
What if the doctor says I am not fit to fly?
